Visit to the company Socksmaker3 Ltd Tešanj

Members of the Network for cooperation for post-investment support to foreign investors in BiH Nina Pobrić, Head of the Promotion Department of FIPA, and Ismir Alagić, Director of the Development Agency of the Municipality of Tešanj, visited on 10 February 2015 the company Socksmaker3 Ltd Tešanj ans discussed with the Director Fabio Nobis and the Deputy Director Safet Mešić. 

Italian company Socksmaker 3, the first manufacturer of socks in BiH, with an investment of around one million EUR, has decided to leave China and to invest in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It currently employs 100 workers. The company Socksmaker3 announced that in the next two years plans to invest one million EUR in addition and to employ 60 new workers.

The company currently produces 18,000 pairs of socks per day, and their goal is to produce 36,000 pairs per day.

The Director of the company Mr Fabio Nobis expressed satisfaction with the quality of labour force in BiH, and stressed the need for more important promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to inform other investors with the BiH potentials for investing.
