FIPA and Bosnia UK Network Strengthen Ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the UK Business Community

The Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) hosted a meeting with Dr. Anes Cerić, Honorary Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Birmingham and Executive Director of the Bosnia UK Network, and Zaim Pašić, Chair of the organization.

The Bosnia UK Network is an established organization that has for many years played an active role in connecting the Bosnian and Herzegovinian diaspora, institutions, and business community in the United Kingdom, while fostering strong links and cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the UK.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing their successful cooperation aimed at promoting Bosnia and Herzegovina as an attractive investment destination. Particular attention was given to preparations for a promotional event in the United Kingdom, where members of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian diaspora, British business representatives, and potential investors will have the opportunity to learn more about business opportunities, investment potential, and development projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The participants highlighted the important role of the diaspora as a key partner in the economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing that strengthening ties between domestic institutions, successful entrepreneurs of Bosnian and Herzegovinian origin, and the international business community can contribute to attracting new investments, creating jobs, and strengthening overall economic cooperation.
