The “PIRAMIDA WOOD DAYS 5 – HUM ENERGY SUMMIT” conference took place at Ravne 2 Park in Visoko, bringing together key stakeholders from the wood, forestry and energy sectors, along with representatives of public institutions, chambers of commerce, investors and local communities.

At the panel dedicated to renewable energy sources, Tanja Bojović-Simić, representing the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), presented Bosnia and Herzegovina’s energy sector, highlighting its potential and investment opportunities.

The conference addressed key issues related to the further development of the wood industry and forestry sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particular emphasis on exports, the availability of timber resources, investment, energy security, renewable energy sources, and the competitiveness of the domestic economy.

Particular attention was given to the position of the wood-processing sector and the need for greater value creation from domestic raw materials. Discussions focused on the relationships between producers, buyers and exporters, European regulations, opportunities to enter new markets, as well as the need to increase the production of semi-finished and finished products in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Events of this kind represent an important platform for exchanging experiences, connecting businesses and investors, and creating new business and investment opportunities in sectors of strategic importance to the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
