Visit to the company FITS Ltd Sarajevo

A representative of FIPA, together with a representative of the Ministry of Economy of the Canton of Sarajevo and the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, visited the company FITS Ltd Sarajevo, which is the main representative and manufacturer of the Econtras brand of the the Dutch company C.J. van Waas for the Balkan region and beyond, in the field of energy efficiency and reduction of CO2 emissions. 

The company was founded in 2017, employs 29 workers, and exports its products to the countries of the European Union and the USA.

FITS d.o.o. produces extremely high-quality insulating jackets and mattresses, but also custom-made products according to customer requirements for the needs of thermal insulation in industry (heating plants, shipbuilding, power plants, oil industry, etc.), sound insulation and passive fire protection.

The company is one of the fast-growing export companies, and represents an example of good practice.

During the meeting, open questions were also discussed. The partners from the Aftercare program (representatives of the institutions) will send selected questions to the relevant institutions.
