Visit to the City of Tuzla

Representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) visited the Municipality of Tuzla with the aim to identify investment potentials and collect investment projects that could be promoted to potential foreign investors. 

During the meetings with representatives of the Tuzla City Administration, information was exchanged about potential commercial projects that FIPA can promote to foreign investors and investment locations (business zones, business facilities, potential zones and land), where the representatives of the City of Tuzla particularly emphasized the importance of business zones.

Upcoming planned city projects that are of exceptional social importance are the Ilinčica Adrenaline Park, the landscaping of the Modrac lake beach and Zeleni kamen towards Majevica, which, in addition to the Pannonian lakes, would additionally attract tourists from the country and the region.

In addition to tourism, they emphasized the importance of the IT sector, respectively of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, which are the basis for the development of software companies.

During the visit to the "TRAG" Development Agency, it was pointed out that the activities carried out so far related to planning and encouraging local economic development, preparation and implementation of projects with a focus on the following areas: digital and green transformation, environmental protection, development of entrepreneurship and tourism, with discussions on other areas as well which are important for the sustainable development of Tuzla.
