Slavica Korica, Assistant Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), received the Deputy Head of the Economic Department of the Embassy of France in Belgrade Davina El-Baze, with whom she discussed the possibility for improving economic cooperation, the cooperation of BiH institutions in the field of attracting foreign investments, with a focus on cooperation with chambers of commerce. 

The activities of FIPA, the services it provides to investors, as well as the most important economic sectors for foreign investments are presented.

According to the data on the state of foreign direct investments (FDI) in BiH, published by the Central Bank of BiH, total investments from the Republic of France, as of December 31, 2023 amounted to 27.6 million BAM.

The French group Lactalis, a producer of milk and dairy products, owns the Inmer Gradačac dairy, which is also the largest French investment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

FIPA selected the company Lactalis one of the most important investors in BiH as part of the event Selection of the most important foreign investors in BiH for 2024.
