Turkish investment in Tuzla creates new jobs

The Turkish manufacturer and distributor of furniture "Kelebek" opened a manufacturing facility within the former company of "Poliuretanska hemija“ which has about 4.000m2 closed area. In one of the three facilities is located a furniture store of Kelebek, and in two other facilities will be launched a production of toys and textiles. 

According to the plan of Turkish investors, 200 workers could be employed in all three facilities by the end of 2016, and by the middle of 2017 that number should rise to 300. The long-term plan is that in the future, the entire complex employs about 400 workers.

"Kelebek Mobilya" is one of the first furniture manufacturers in Turkey. They have been successfully operating since 1935, when they produced wooden parts for aircraft wings. Over time, through modernization and adaptation to the market, they became one of the Europe's largest furniture manufacturer and a leader in the Turkish market, and their products are now exported to 15 countries. Since 2012, the owner of "Kelebek" is Dogtas, also known furniture manufacturer which is already operating successfully in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
