TO ACTIVATE POLISH INVESTORS

The FIPA Director Gordan Milinić informed the Ambassador Dunđer about the Agency's work on attracting foreign investments, opportunities for investing in BiH and attractive sectors for foreign investors.
He also highlighted the importance of economic diplomacy in promoting country and attracting investments, stressing that FIPA managed to animate during the two previous years the BiH economic diplomacy in the way that they started organizing investment conferences where are presented opportunities for investing in BiH.
It was pointed out that the current level of investments from Poland, according to the data of the Central Bank of BH, amounts to 29.3 million BAM. In 2017, one million BAM investments were registered from this country.
Some of the most important field investments are: Organika BH d.o.o. Sarajevo, Aliplast Aluminum Systems d.o.o. Konjic, Lublin and Inter Cars d.o.o. Sarajevo.
The Ambassador is expected to establish cooperation with Poland's chamber system and other associations in charge of economy, as well as regional chambers of commerce in order to try to improve the inflow of Polish investments in BiH and exports.
