The meeting of the director of FIPA with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) Marko Kubatlija talked with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Sadik Babur Girgin on Turkish investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, current economic cooperation, as well as planned activities of FIPE and opportunities for cooperation in the field of investment. 

He pointed out that Turkey is at the 10^th position in terms of investments in our country with 650 million BAM invested so far. He proposed the joint organization of business meetings with Turkish companies, where representatives of FIPA would present the potential of BiH, as well as existing projects.

The Ambassador welcomed the work of the Agency.

As one of the many advantages of BiH, he emphasized the proximity of the EU market, and that based on the signed Free Trade Agreement and the Agreement on the Protection and Promotion of Investments and traditional friendly relations, the two countries should work on improving economic cooperation with a focus on energy, mining, tourism and food. industry.
