Representatives of the Greek company Aktor, interested in investing in Republika Srpska, visited the Investment and Development Bank of the RS (IRB), where they discussed the possibilities and forms of investments.

This visit is the result of a recent meeting of representatives of the IRB with the Ambassador of Greece in BiH, Dimitris Papandreou within the framework of intensive and strong promotion of the economic potential of Republika Srpska.

The visit of the Greek company followed after they learned in detail about the investment profiles of the Republika Srpska and the profiles of the cities and municipalities of the RS.

The aim of the visit is to establish direct contact with institutions and businessmen in the Republic of Srpska.

The Aktor company is the construction branch of the Greek Ellaktor group, the largest infrastructure group in Greece and one of the leaders in Southeastern Europe.

It is specialized in infrastructure, construction and industrial projects, wastewater treatment, photovoltaic parks, quarries and project management.

The Ellaktor group, with an international presence and diverse activities, is focused on construction, concessions, the environment, renewable energy sources and real estate development.

It operates in 22 countries and has almost 7,500 employees.

The BiH Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) had the approval of the BiH Presidency to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Greek Investment Agency, which will be signed in October this year, which will further intensify the cooperation between Greece, the RS and BiH as a whole.
