The First Management Conference of Hoteliers and Restaurateurs in BiH - Hotel 21 was held in Sarajevo

The First Management Conference of Hoteliers and Restaurateurs in BiH - Hotel 21 named "Bosnia and Herzegovina in global competition of destinations", was held on 20 April in the hotel Malak Regency in Sarajevo, organized by the Tourist Association of Sarajevo Canton and the Chamber of Commerce of FBiH. 

The conference was focused on trends in the hotel and tourist industry in BiH, disadvantages and advantages of the tourism sector in BiH, steps for continuation of development of the tourism management in hotels, etc.

At a business conference there were more than 35 panellists, representatives of institutions, businesspeople, investors, academic community and local and international experts.

As a panellist at the conference, the Secretary of FIPA Ph.D. Maida Bećirović pointed out that investors in the sector of hotels and tourism don't intend to only build hotels, but they are looking for offers of extra services in BiH; that investors think to bring here so-called the team tourism, but we have to create conditions for that.

Bosnia and Herzegovina has natural resources, but lacks infrastructure.

BiH offers opportunities for adventure tourism, but in this area, it also lacks infrastructure.
