The construction of a factory of 4.5 million EUR in Srebrenica is coming to the end

The construction of the plant of 4,300 square meters surface in Vidikovac near Srebrenica, which will realize an annual production of 7.5 tons of chips, is coming to the end. 

The plant will in the first phase will employ 50 workers, and the total investment worth 4.5 million EUR.

Investors of this factory are the company "Global Trade Gida Sanayi" from Turkey, "Total Trade International" from Serbia and entrepreneur Mirza Šahman from BiH. The owners of the majority of capital are businessmen from Azerbaijan.

The factory is based on Japanese technology of frozen French fries, and 70% of production will be exported at the foreign market.

For the planned production of chips in two relays, the factory will have a need of 15,000 tons of potatoes a year. To provide this amount of raw material is necessary to sow 500 hectares of land. Potatoes are being raised in our country on an area of ​​41,000 hectares with an annual productivity of 387,000 tons. Therefore, in addition to 50 employees, the company will also involve almost 60,000 farmers.
