“Swisslion” is opening a new factory in Trebinje

The installation of three lines is underway, out of which the one will be put into operation this week.
Trial production in the factory of baby food is planned on 1st November, while the processing plant of cocoa beans will become operational by the end of the year.
In the new factory, three lines of products that have not been in the range will be installed, and besides the production of baby food "Juvitana", the lines for processing of cocoa beans will include a line for the production of glazed honey cake.
The value of construction work of the plant "Trebinje two," without installing the equipment, is about 4.5 million BAM, and the project is entirely financed from the own revenues. Total funds of "Swisslion“ invested in the production facilities in Herzegovina amount thus at 100 million BAM.
The factory covers an area of 14,800 square meters, and "Trebinje two" will be the largest manufacturing facility in the food industry in BiH.
Speaking about future plans, Mr Draskovic said that he will not stop the expansion of capacity and production in Trebinje, and announced the production of healthy, organic food, noting that the factories he will build in this Municipality for the mentioned production will be equipped with the latest technology existing in the world.
According to him, “Swisslion” is building an engineering centre in Trebinje that will exclusively be in charge of the staff training and it would be the strongest school in South East Europe.
