Swedish clogs from the Bosnian wood hit in America

As in BiH have still interesting and untold stories, shows the company Maguba which has been producing for four years famous Swedish clogs of modernized design in the small Municipality of Turbe near Travnik and place them at the US market. 

Due to operating and production expenses, the owners decided to move their production to another country, and their decision was related to BiH.

For starting business, they bought the business premises in Travnik measuring 1700 square and started production. Since the demand for these products grew so did their production, including hiring new workers. Thus, from the initial 12, they have now 40 employees.

Most of raw materials used, are being purchased in BiH, as for example wood, thread, glue, one part of lining, cardboard boxes and etc. Only skin and nails are procured abroad.

The company produces annually more than 44,000 pairs of clogs, which then go to Sweden and then are sent to the US.
