FIRST INTERNATIONAL BENCHMARKING SYSTEM FOR SME IN THE BALKANS LAUNCHED

The first international Benchmarking System for small and medium enterprises in the Balkans, which is a unique and effective way of comparing business performances of companies with domestic and foreign competitors, was officially launched in Sarajevo on 12th May 2011. 

The first international Benchmarking System for small and medium enterprises in the Balkans, which is a unique and effective way of comparing business performances of companies with domestic and foreign competitors, was officially launched in Sarajevo on 12th May 2011.

The system was realized within the Benchmarking System for Small and Medium Enterprises in BiH project, implemented by the Association of business advisors in BiH "LESPnet", in cooperation with the Norwegian Foreign Ministry.

The partner in this project is scientific institute "Fraunhofer" from Berlin, which has developed the methodology of creating a Benchmarking index for small and medium companies, implementing it in 20 countries of Europe and the world.

This system will enable companies to receive a unique image on their competitiveness, strength and weaknesses, through comparing their business performances with the performance of the competition.
