THREE COMPANIES INTERESTED IN HES OF GORNJA DRINA PROJECT

The interest in Hydropower System Project (HES) of Gornja Drina, whose value is estimated at 500 million EUR and should be built over the next five years, was confirmed by the German energy company RWE, the Greek Public Power Corporation and the China International and Electric Corporation.

The Hydropower System Project of Gornja Drina will consist of hydropower plant (HE) Buk Bijela with installed capacity of 115 megawatts, HE Foca with installed capacity of 52 megawatts, HE Sutjeska with installed capacity of 35 megawatts and HE Paunci with installed capacity of 36 megawatts, whose the total annual electricity production is estimated at 800 gigawatt/h.
