BBI Bank in cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank announced the 4th International Investment Conference "Sarajevo Business Forum 2013 - Models of Growth and Lessons for Southeast Europe", which will be held on 17th May in Sarajevo.  

According to the BBI Bank, eminent world leader Mahathir Muhamed, former Malaysian Prime Minister confirmed his presence at the conference, and he will present models of growth and development of Malaysia and participate at discussion on development potentials of B&H and the region.

Guest at the conference will be also Danilo Turk, former Slovenian President, who will exchange experiences from the EU and access to European funds.

Presence of Turkish Deputy Prime Minister in charge of economy is also expected, who will present to public and investors a vision of accelerated success and growth of Turkey and discuss the necessary steps for B&H and Southeaster Europe together with Mahathir.

At the second part of the conference, representatives for institutional investors from sectors of agriculture, infrastructure, energy and tourism will present the best international experiences from these sectors, and ways to develop potentials we have.

 "Focus of this year's Sarajevo Business Forum will be making conclusions for B&H and the region from discussion on successful models of growth and development, represented through experience of world leaders such as Mahathir, who announced his arrival. Also, the best work practices in agriculture, infrastructure, energy and tourism will be presented which can be used in B&H and region strategies. We prepared this year's forum in form of a conference, and expected result will be establishment of new platform for development of B&H and region potentials", BBI director Amer Bukvic said in his announcement of this year's SBF.

More than 1,300 investors from Europe, Asia and America participated at the previous 3 conferences, which the media called "the most important economic event in modern B&H", at which projects from different sectors were presented.

Some of the project presenters reached investors at these conferences and turned their ideas into action or improved their business with cooperation with foreign markets, BBI Bank report reads.
