Regional conference on public-private partnership in Podgorica

On October 29, 2024, representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) attended the II Regional Conference on Public-Private Partnership (PPP), which was jointly organized in Podgorica by the Ministry of Finance and the Investment Agency of Montenegro, with the support of the SIGMA Program. 

This conference is a key event for all actors interested in the development of the PPP model in the region, as it gathers leading representatives from the public and private sectors, representatives from the countries of the region, international organizations, financial institutions, and experts who shared their experiences and knowledge about this important model. investments.

During the panels, the participants had the opportunity to learn about new trends and opportunities in the field of PPP, with a special focus on international standards, legislative frameworks and practical aspects of the implementation of public-private partnership projects (infrastructure projects in the field of transport and in the education sector, tourism and sustainable development).

The conference provided a platform for the creation of new partnerships and initiatives that will significantly contribute to sustainable development, increase investments and encourage economic cooperation at the regional level.
