The public invitation for design, construction, use and maintenance of the highway Glamočani-Banja Luka-Mrkonjić Grad-Mliništa was published in the daily newspaper of Glas Srpske and Nezavisne novine on 17th June 2011.

On 1st June 2011, the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo announced a public call for awarding the public land for construction and use of underground garage G8, near the office building of AS and the residential-commercial building of Šibice.

The public call will be opened 30 days from the day of publication.

“Privredna štampa” d.o.o. Sarajevo prepares for 39 years the special edition of „Business Journal“ entitled „Top 100 in BiH“ in which it publishes the ranking list of the most successful large, medium and small companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

NEW FOREIGN INVESTMENT OF OVER € 250 MILION

KTG Zenica signed the EPC contract with Ferrostaal Germany, and its consortium partner the Christof Group, Austria for construction of a gas fired Combined Heat and Power Plant (CHPP) in Zenica, with an electrical capacity of 240 MW and a thermal capacity of 170 MWth for district heating purposes.

The plant is one of the largest investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the reacent period and represents a total investment of over € 250 million.

The project will be financed by two coowner of KTG Zenica, which is a project company owned by Municipality of Zenica with a share of 25% and KTG AG, Switzerland with a share of 75%.

For the purpose of the project, Municipality has allocated land for building Combined Heat and Power Plant in the Industrial park Zenica 1.

The plant will be built in phases with total installed capacity scheduled to come on stream in mid 2014.



THE MUNICIPALITY OF TESANJ DISPENSES LAND TO INVESTORS FREE OF CHARGE

The municipality of Tesanj, in its’ Industrial Zone “Vila” offers land to investors free of charge. The conditions are to start production in two years, employ 50 employees in the first year and additional 10 employees in each of the following ten years, with the business operation time period of minimum 20 years.

Besides this, the municipality exempts investors, who fulfill certain conditions for starting business within the zone, from all the municipal fees.



In order to improve the business climate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Governement of RS has created a Register of permits, inspection procedures and subjects of control within the RS Ministry of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation, at the web site of which, you can find data related to all kind of permits necessary for running business.

The Register makes the material and electronic database of all permits and inspection procedures and the subjects of control issued and implemented by authorized institutions of RS.
