Presentation of the FIPA Agency at the Business Forum „Bosnia and Herzegovina – Taiwan“

Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina organized on 22 October 2015 in Sarajevo a Business Forum and a meeting of businesspeople of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Taiwan. 

On that occasion, Nina Pobrić, Head of the Investment Promotion Department of the FIPA Agency, had a presentation on comparative advantages and investment potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As part of the Forum, a panel discussion on the possibilities for business cooperation between BiH and Taiwan was also held.

Bilateral meetings were organized where the companies’ representatives presented each other their production and service programmes and discussed the possibilities of cooperation.

During most of the 20th century Taiwan's economy recorded a high and often spectacular growth. At the beginning of the 21st century, two-thirds of GDP was generated by the service sector, and the main branch of industry is the production of computer equipment and other sophisticated products.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a good base for investment due to the proximity of the European market, agreements on free and preferential trade, good locations for investment and tax policy.
