The Elektroprivreda BiH Company called a prequalification for selection of strategic partner for joint venture construction of the 450 megawatt thermal power plant.
Interested bidders should have been dealing in the last five years in one or more activities within the electric power industry, such as generation, transmission, distribution and/or trade of electric energy, in order to qualify for the next tender stage. They should also have a total profit of 400 million EUR in the last three years.
The bidders should also own/jointly own one or more power production facilities, at least one of which is a thermal power plant with the installed capacity of 400 MW or more.
The deadline for filing applications is May 13. The investment in Unit 7 is estimated at 800 to 900 million EUR.
The Unit 7 joint venture project at thermal power plant Tuzla includes construction, management and operation of the unit.
