TURKISH INSTITUTIONS AMONG SASE SHAREHOLDERS - POSITIVE SIGNAL FOR ALL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

Over the procedure of restructuring, Istanbul Stock Exchange, Takasbank, which performs jobs of offsetting and settlement for the Istanbul bourse, and the Agency of Central Securities Register of Turkey acquired 14.97 percent of overall SASE capital. These three Turkish institutions paid 420.000 BAM for the restructuring, each having 4.97 percent of stake in SASE.
The capital obtained by restructuring will be used for new investments (development of reserve location of stock, improvement of stock trading systems, etc).
The entrance of the Turkish capital market institutions into the SASE is a positive signal for all financial institution that may be shareholders of SASE, banks, insurance companies, public funds managing companies and other financial organizations.
