New plants and jobs in Srebrenica

By the end of November a manufacturing plant of the company Prevent will be officially opened in Potočari, where the trial production has been done for a few months and 70 employees got the job. 

In 2015 Prevent plans to expand its plant capacity, and production programs and employment of 40 additional workers.

Besides, the construction of the factory of French fries is underway, in which investors from BiH and Azerbaijan will invest around seven million BAM.

 It is planned that the plant for the production of French fries becomes operational mid next year.

Processing capacity is 60 tons of potatoes per day or 15,000 tonnes per year. Factory could employ 45 workers.

 In December, the foundation stone will be laid for the construction of a metal industry plant in Skelani which will employ 20 workers.
