Meeting with representatives of the Embassy of Canada in Budapest

Representatives of FIPA met with Consul Francis Uy and Advisor Zsuzsanna Kovacs-Matyus of the Canadian Embassy in Budapest, which also covers Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

During the meeting, it was discussed about the interest of Canadian investors in investing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the opportunities that Bosnia and Herzegovina offers to foreign investors, similar.

Special emphasis was put on the sectors of Cleantech, ICT, infrastructure, agriculture and food processing, military industry and the metal sector.

They also discussed the tax system (profit tax rate and VAT), then available projects for the listed sectors.

FIPA representatives informed the Embassy representatives about the mentioned sectors and available projects.

A further cooperation was agreed within the interests of potential investors from Canada.
