Kubatlija - Đokić: Joint work to attract new investments

Director Kubatlija praised the efforts of the Government of Republic of Srpska in creating a favourable investment environment and emphasized FIPA's commitment to the promotion of Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina as an attractive destination for foreign investors. He stated that foreign investors are showing increasing interest in investing in energy projects, renewable energy sources, but also in infrastructure modernization and production capacity development.
Kubatlija proposed concrete activities for better promotion of the investment opportunities of Republic of Srpska, including participation in international fairs and investment forums.
During the meeting, Minister Đokić pointed out that Republic of Srpska has significant potential, especially in sectors that are strategically important for its economic development. He pointed out that the Government of Republic of Srpska is committed to creating a favourable business environment and providing support to foreign companies interested in investments.
The Minister emphasized the Government's continued support for the implementation of ongoing and planned investment projects and the importance of coordinated action by institutions at all levels.
It was concluded that both parties will continue close cooperation in order to promote the positive image of Republic of Srpska abroad and increase its competitiveness in foreign markets.
FIPA currently has about 500 projects in its database that it promotes and offers to foreign investors. According to the Director of Kubatlija, as many as 80 percent of investors who invested in BiH for the first time, are ready to do so again.
