"KOZARA" NATIONAL PARK: NEW TOURISM OFFER ATTRACTS MORE VISITORS

"Kozara" National Park was visited by 78,000 visitors last year, which is 8.000 more than last year, mainly because the new tourism offer.  

Decorated walking bridges and especially the bicycle path through the Park are the new offer for the visitors of the National Park.

Bicycle path which is 30 kilometers long and going through the National Park and the Municipality of Kozarska Dubica all the way to border with Croatia, was completed three months ago and it is connected to "Lonjsko polje" Natural Park in the neighbouring country through the project "Tourism without borders by bicycle".

The EU provided 330.000 EUR within the program of cross-border cooperation for the project of connecting two parks with cyclist path.
