RS SIGNED AGREEMENT WITH KI-KELAG ON COOPERATION IN HYDROPOWER SECTOR

The Prime Minister of RS Aleksandar Dzombic, the representatives of KI-KELAG International GmbH from Austria and Interenergo from Slovenia, owned by KI-KELAG, signed on 21st September in Banja Luka an agreement on cooperation in realization of projects in the hydropower sector. 

The Prime Minister of RS Aleksandar Dzombic, the representatives of KI-KELAG International GmbH from Austria and Interenergo from Slovenia, owned by KI-KELAG, signed on 21st September in Banja Luka an agreement on cooperation in realization of projects in the hydropower sector.

According to the agreement, the Austrian company will start constructing the mini-hydro power plant of “Novakovici”, “Zapece” and “Medna”. The total value of installed capacity is about 10 megawatts, and the realization of the investment will begin late this year and will finish at the end of 2012.

The negotiations for entry of this company into the ownership structure of the projects "Bistrica 1", "Bistrica 2" and "Bistrica 3" are ongoing, where the KI-KELAG group should take over primacy and continue investments with its knowledge and technology.

KELAG Interenergo have already realized the concession of these three mini-hydropower plants with the total value of approximately 35 million EUR.
