International Business Conference Canton of Sarajevo 2016

International Business Conference Canton of Sarajevo 2016, organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton, was held in Sarajevo, on 29 September 2016. 

The participants of the Conference were the most significant economy and finance experts from the country and abroad, representatives of foreign and local companies from different sectors of economy - construction, energy sector, metals sector, agriculture/food industry sector, wood processing sector, IT sector, tourism and trade sector.

Sarajevo Canton was presented as a potential investment destination and investors from BiH and abroad had a possibility to exchange information on business challenges faced by them.

The Deputy Director of Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Blaženka Mišković informed on this occasion attendees about current situation related to influx of foreign investments to BiH, possibilities for investing and sectors that could attract foreign investments, as well as about legal framework for foreign investors.
