Increase in foreign investments in 2023



According to data from the Central Bank of BiH, in the first six months of 2023, 1,041,700,000 BAM of foreign investments were registered in BiH, which represents an increase of 30.4% compared to the same period in 2022, when 798,500,000 million BAM were recorded.

The aforementioned data confirm the trend of growth of foreign investments in the first half of this year, however, it remains to be seen what dynamic in this area will be by the end of the year.

In the first six months of 2023, the countries with the largest registered amounts of capital in Bosnia and Herzegovina are: Russia, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Croatia.

Turkey and Germany also had significant capital increases.
