French Ambassador visited FIPA

The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) Marko Kubatlija received the Ambassador of the Republic of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina H.E. François Delmas, to discuss the possibilities for economic cooperation between the two countries. 

The Director Kubatlija informed Ambassador Delmas about French investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing that according to the data of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, total investments from the Republic of France until December 31, 2023 amounted to 27.6 million BAM, while in 2024, it was registered 1 million BAM.

The largest French investment in BiH is the company Lactalis, which FIPA declared as one of the most significant foreign investors for 2024 within the event "Selection of the most significant foreign investors in BiH".

The possibility for improving cooperation with the competent institutions in France, with Business France, as well as with the Association of Employers in France was discussed.

The Ambassador Delmas expressed support for the work of FIPA and emphasized that we will work together with a focus on strengthening economic cooperation in the coming period.
