07/15/2026

The Sarajevo Regional Development Agency (SERDA), within the framework of the SPRING Programme, has announced the first Call for Proposals for the award of non-repayable grants, with an indicative total budget of BAM 1.1 million.

Project proposals may be submitted via the online application platform until 1 September 2026, 4:00 p.m. (CET).

The call has been launched under the "Challenge2Change and Internationalization" component of the SPRING Programme and aims to support innovative project proposals focused on the development of new or significantly improved products, services, or business processes that enhance the competitiveness, resilience, and export potential of businesses. Priority will be given to projects that, in addition to demonstrating innovation, contribute to sustainable development through digital transformation, the green transition, the creation of quality jobs, and other positive social and economic impacts.

Individual grants of up to EUR 40,000 are available under this call, covering up to 40% of the total eligible project costs. Applicants are required to provide at least 60% co-financing from their own resources.

Eligible applicants are export-oriented businesses registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina that have been operating for at least 24 months and meet the eligibility requirements set out in the Public Call and the Applicant Guidelines.

In addition to financial support provided through the Challenge Fund, the "Challenge2Change and Internationalization" component of the SPRING Programme offers beneficiaries a range of internationalization activities and opportunities for cooperation with partners from Sweden.

These activities are designed to facilitate knowledge exchange, foster business partnerships, create new market opportunities, strengthen project development capacities, and improve access to both domestic and international sources of funding.

Project proposals must be submitted exclusively through the online application platform, available at c2c.spring.ba, where applicants can access the Public Call, the Applicant Guidelines, the Application Package, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), and all other documentation required for submitting an application.

The SPRING Programme (Strategic Partnership for Resilience, Innovation and New Generation) is funded by the Government of Sweden and implemented by the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency (SERDA), the Enterprise Development Agency (Eda), and the Mozaik Foundation.
