FIPA represents this year the BiH wines at a renowned fair in Tokyo



The Representative of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) in Japan Mr Shigehiko Nishihama represents also, this year, the BiH wine at the 93^rd Liquor and Cheese Fair which is being held from 11^th to 17^th April in Tokyo.

More than 1000 kinds of wine from 26 countries of the world are being exhibited and sold at the Fair.

3 kinds of the BiH wine, wine Manastir Tvrdoš Vranac 2013, Hum Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 and OROS Chardonnay 2015 are being offered to visitors.

During the seven-day event, about 25,000 bottles of wine are sold, and it is one of the biggest wine fair in Japan.

During the first day, when it comes to the BiH wine, the fair’s visitors expressed their satisfaction with the wine quality, especially with the wine Manastir Tvrdoš Vranac 2013.

Besides the wine presentation, Mr Nishihama also presents the culture and the tourism of BiH to visitors, which is an important contribution to the promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Japanese market.

Thanks to the efforts of the FIPA representative, from January 2014, BiH has been successfully the wine to Japan which is a great success, considering the competition and the demands of the Japanese market.
