FIPA PREPARES THE SELECTION OF THE MOST SIGNIFICANT FOREIGN INVESTOR IN BIH IN 2018



The Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) will organize an event "Selection of the Most Significant Foreign Investor in BiH in 2018" on December 18, 2018 in Swissotel Sarajevo, Vrbanja 1, starting at 12:00.

FIPA is organizing this event for more than 10 years in order to express recognition to foreign companies in this way, and thank them for their contribution to the economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for employment of the BH of citizens, and for a grow of all other economic indicators on the basis of these investments.

In the last two years, BiH recorded an increase in foreign investments. In 2017, 777 million BAM were registered as foreign investments, which is about 40% more than in 2016.

The trend of the foreign investment growth continued in 2018, and for the first 6 months, foreign investments amounted to 452 million BAM. The investment growth is the result of the competent institutions activities in creating better investment conditions, bringing new investors, implementing the necessary reforms and strengthening the country's competitiveness both for domestic and foreign investors.

This year, awards will be awarded to 12 companies that have made a significant contribution to the economic growth of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
