FIPA participated at the "Energy Week Western Balkans 2022" Summit

Representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) participated at the "Energy Week Western Balkans" Summit, which was held from September 6 to 8 in Montenegro. 

The Summit was organized with the aim to encourage the application of renewable energy in the region and attracting foreign direct investments, with an emphasis on solar, wind and hydro energy.

The Assistant Director of FIPA Slavica Korica participated at the panel dedicated to investment climate and wind energy opportunities, in which the current situation in this area and the available investment projects of Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented.

On this occasion, contacts were established with investors from Norway, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, Great Britain, and Hungary, and further discussions on investment opportunities in the field of energy of Bosnia and Herzegovina continued.

The Summit brought together representatives of the authorities and energy companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, as well as international financial institutions, multinational companies and consulting firms.
