FIPA participated at the 4th Business Forum of the Chamber of Economy of FBIH

The automotive industry, its perspectives, and the trends and opportunities of this industry were the central theme of the 4th Business Forum of the Chamber of Economy of FBIH, held on December 3, 2019. in Sarajevo.The automotive industry in BIH has a tradition for more than 60 years and the beginnings were related to the production of parts for Mercedes and then for Volkswagen. Today, B&H companies are working for major global brands and the main advantages are modern factories, highly educated and competitive labor force, short delivery times due to proximity to the EU, developed industrial tradition etc. Many companies form BIH are recognized and are very important business partners for large companies in Europe. Parts of metal, plastics, textiles, rubber are manufactured and/or assembled in BIH factories. Also we must not neglect the potential of companies in BIH that make design and product development in the automotive industry.Nina Pobric, Head of the Investment promotion Department at FIPA participated at panel discussion on attracion of new investments in automotiv industry of BiH. Other panelist were Fadil Novalic, Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Edin Causevic form Mercedes Benz, Mahmut Galijašević from Mann + Hummel BA, Enes Pehlic from Cromex d.o.o. Prijedor and Aida Soko, Prime Ministar´s advisor, as moderator.
