FIPA is participating in the World Investment Forum 2023 in Abu Dhabi

The Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), led by Deputy Director PhD Sanja Bazina Crnokić, is participating at the 8th World Investment Forum 2023, which will be held in Abu Dhabi from October 16 to 20, 2023. Representatives of institutions in the field of investment, entrepreneurship development and economy from all over the world participate in the conference to discuss the dynamics of foreign investment in the future in view of the various challenges the world is facing, the key sectors for investment at the global level, the necessary reforms to improve foreign investment, etc.

In addition to participating in the forum sessions, FIPA representatives had a series of meetings with representatives of the institutions that participated in the organization of this conference, such as a meeting with the head of the Investment Department of the Abu Dhabi Foreign Investment Agency, Mr. Naouf Al Maisari, with whom they discussed the possibility of cooperation, experiences in work related to the promotion and attraction of foreign investments, target sectors for promotion and similar.

With Mr. Ismail Ersahin, executive director of WAIPA, the improvement of cooperation and the participation of FIPA in upcoming events organized by this organization were discussed.

With Mrs. Kinga Korymowska, Regional Manager of AIM Congress UAE for Europe, they discussed possibilities for representing FIPA at events organized by AIM.

The meeting was also held with Zdenko Lucić, State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, focused on possibilities for cooperation in the field of investments.

With the Director of the Invest in North Macedonia Agency, Mr. Gazmend Abdi and his colleagues discussed the improvement of cooperation and the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions.

A meeting was also held with Sanita Lisica from the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Abu Dhabi.
