FIPA is a key partner of local communities in the process of attracting foreign investment

FIPA, as a key partner of local communities in the process of attracting foreign investment in BiH, led a delegation of Chinese investors in visiting investment locations in the Brčko District and Živinice. 

FIPA, together with a delegation of the Chinese company Jiangsu New Power Energy Co. Ltd., had meetings and visited several investment locations in the City of Živinice and the Brčko District with the aim to find a suitable investment location for the production of aerated concrete block slabs.

The Chinese company operates in the fields of thermoelectric power generation, coal trade, paper production, new construction materials, logistics and storage in ports, high-class hotels, and environmental protection and environmental management industries.

The City of Živinice proposed two investment locations, one of 19.8 hectares in business zone and one 9.2-hectare plot of land that the Chinese investors visited.

Representatives of the Brčko District Government provided investors with information on the advantages and investment opportunities, especially in the areas of production and infrastructure.

Special attention was paid to potential investment locations in Vitanovići and Brezovo Polje areas, which have favourable conditions for the implementation of large projects.

The mentioned locations were visited by Chinese investors together with FIPA, including the Port of Brčko.
