FIPA Director at a meeting with representatives of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad

The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA), Milica Marković, met with the Deputy Director of the Representative Office of the German Chambers of Commerce (AHK) in BiH, Azra Ramić, and the Representative of the Department of Business Services and Projects at the AHK, Nerma Salihović.
They discussed mutual cooperation and joint promotional activities in attracting potential foreign investors from Germany, current projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina with a focus on the EUREM project, as well as the promotion of the energy sector, which is currently the most attractive sector for investments, in addition to the wood processing, metal, tourism and IT sectors.
The need for regional integration in the coming period was emphasized in order to increase the interest of German investors when it comes to strategic projects, and therefore the inflow of foreign investments would be bigger.
The Director Marković provided full support for the upcoming activities of AHK and emphasized the readiness of the Agency for future investment activities in the promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Germany through visits to fairs, as well as in the organization of forums and conferences for German business people in our country.
