FIPA AT THE CONFERENCE RENEXPO

Representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH, led by the Director Gordan Milinić, participated at the 5th International Fair and Conferences of RENEXPO BiH 2018. 

The FIPA representative for the region of Herzegovina, Amir Kazić, participated at the conference entitled "Photovoltaic and Solar Energy in BiH", and had a presentation of "Photovoltaic Power Plant in BiH - Potentials - Investment Opportunities - Challenges".

He also participated in panels dedicated to hydropower investments with a focus on BiH's hydropower potentials and investment opportunities, green energy, and wind energy in BiH.

At these conferences and the panel it was discussed on the current topics on incentive’s dynamic quotas, the integration of hydro, wind and solar power plants into the transmission network of BiH and obstacles and limitations in the implementation of investment projects, backed up by the concrete experiences of foreign investors - project owners and FIPA.

Significant contribution to the discussions was given by the owners of the projects of power plants under construction, manufacturers of equipment for hydro and wind power plants and representatives of the institutions of BiH competent for the electricity sector.

Contacts were established with investors in the field of energy from Austria, Romania, Serbia and Sweden.
