FIPA at Sarajevo Business Forum 2023

The Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) attended the twelfth consecutive international conference Sarajevo Business Forum 2023, which this year gathered numerous business people, investors, representatives of governments and ministries from over 40 countries of the region and the world. 

During the conference, FIPA representatives presented investment opportunities to investors from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Greece. Meetings were also held with owners of investment projects who are looking for potential business partners, whose projects will be promoted through the Agency.

On the second day of the Forum, a panel was held on the topic "Successful investment stories of the region", which was moderated by Nina Pobrić, Head of the Promotion Department of FIPA, where Paul Cronin, Director of the company "Eastern Mining" from Vareš, spoke about successful business in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including Branimir Muidža, General Manager of Cement Factory Kakanj and Heidelberg Materials group in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, and President of the Council of Foreign Investors in BiH.

Positive business experiences of regional companies were also presented by Anastasios Spanidis from Greece and Mattias Sjoborg, CEO of Plena Group, as well as Dr. Maria Hristova, Director of "Sofia Investment Agency" from Bulgaria.
