ENERGY WEEK WESTERN BALKANS: 7–8 October 2026, Maestral Resort, Montenegro

The 5th edition of Energy Week Western Balkans will be held on 7–8 October 2026 at Maestral Resort in Montenegro.

Energy Week Western Balkans has established itself as the region's leading platform for promoting cooperation, investment, and dialogue in the renewable energy sector. Organised by the UK-based renewable energy consultancy Invest In Network, the conference brings together policymakers, regulators, transmission system operators (TSOs), power utilities, investors, project developers, and other key stakeholders from the Western Balkans (Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo*, Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Croatia.

The event provides a unique opportunity to strengthen regional cooperation, exchange expertise, and foster strategic partnerships that support the energy transition and sustainable development across the region.

The 2025 edition marked an important milestone in advancing the Western Balkans' sustainable energy agenda. During two days of high-level panel discussions, expert presentations, and networking sessions, participants explored practical solutions for translating regional ambitions into concrete projects. Discussions focused on aligning national regulatory frameworks with the European Union's energy transition objectives, strengthening investor confidence, and outlining the pathway towards developing 20 GW of new renewable energy capacity by 2040.

For the second consecutive year, the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) will participate as an official partner of the conference, presenting Bosnia and Herzegovina's investment opportunities and energy sector potential to an international audience of investors, industry leaders, and decision-makers.
