Director of the company Natural Food Ltd. Vitez at FIPA

The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Gordan Milinić and associates talked with the Director of the company Natural Food Ltd. Vitez Mr Goran Papić, and the representative of the Municipality of Vitez Mr Armin Varupa about obstacles that the company faced on the way of expanding its business capacities. 

Natural food is a Swedish investment, which is engaged in purchase of berries with its headquarter in Vitez. They have cold storages in Vitez, Željezno polje, Bugojno, Srebrenica and other locations, and they do business with more than 1,500 subcontractors. They are 100% export-oriented.

The company planned to take on lease 48 hectares of land in the Municipality of Vitez owned by the company "PD Vlašić" to expand the business, which would represent an investment of 2 million EUR and the hiring 30-40 people. But however in that intention, the company faced an administrative obstacle related to delaying the decision making on lease of the mentioned land.

The FIPA representatives have been involved in solving problems of the investor. In addition to representatives of the Municipality of Vitez, they will inform the competent Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry at the cantonal and federal level about the problem in order to solve the aforementioned problems, taking into account the importance of hiring any new worker in the current economic situation in the country.
