Director of FIPA at a meeting with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

On November 26, the Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) Marko Kubatlija talked with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Razim Čolić about the possibility for joint cooperation in the field of promoting Bosnia and Herzegovina's investment opportunities. He pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is at the 13^th position in terms of investments in our country, with BAM 393 million invested so far, and that there is room for improving economic cooperation between the two countries, including increasing the inflow of investments.

According to the currently available data, in the total amount of investments from Saudi Arabia, the most or 49.9% was realized within the "real estate business". A significant share of investments also refers to the banking sector.

The most significant investments from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are: Bosna Bank International d.d.Sarajevo, Al Shiddi Group, Malak Group, and others.

He proposed the joint organization of business meetings with companies from Saudi Arabia, where FIPA representatives would present BiH's potential, as well as existing projects.
