The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), Marko Kubatlija and his associates met today in Belgrade with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Serbia Aleksandar Vranješ. 

They discussed the investments that companies from Serbia have realized so far in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the announced investments, and the current economic cooperation between the two countries.

It was pointed out that Serbia occupies the 2nd position in the ranking of countries of foreign investors in BiH with 2.7 billion BAM invested and a participation of 13.8% in total investments.

Among the most significant investors from the Republic of Serbia in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the following can be mentioned:

- Telecom of Serbia;

- NIS - Oil Industry of Serbia;

- Hemofarm concern

- Swisslion-Takovo;

- Imlek a.d. investments

- Delta Holding

At the meeting, it was also pointed out that the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Serbia will be a partner for the organization of investment events to attract potential foreign investors, where FIPA representatives will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina's potential for investing.

Current economic trends and the state of the economy in Serbia open up the possibility of significant cooperation and concretization of future joint projects with FIPA.
