CHINESE INTERESTED IN TE "KAKANJ" BLOCK 8 JOINT VENTURE

The Chinese National Energy Corporation Delegation (CNEEC), led by the Vice President, Mr. He Gone Qi, visited the public utility company JP "Elektroprivreda BiH", and met with the Acting Director, Mr. Elvedin Grabovica, and his associates, on 30th May 2010. 

The Chinese National Energy Corporation Delegation (CNEEC), led by the Vice President, Mr. He Gone Qi, visited the public utility company JP "Elektroprivreda BiH", and met with the Acting Director, Mr. Elvedin Grabovica, and his associates, on 30th May 2010.

The topic of the meeting was possibilities of cooperation in a new Elektroprivred BiH investment cycle, especially in the construction of the block 8 in the thermal electrical power plant (TE) "Kakanj“ , of 300 MW installed power.

It was emphasized that CNEEC had support of the Chinese Government and Chinese banks that primarily deal with financing such investment ventures abroad.

The Chinese Delegation also visited TE "Kakanj“ and TE "Tuzla“, in which the construction of a new 450 MW installed power block 7 has been planned.
