During Sarajevo Business Forum BIH-Italy held on 22nd April, under the project of waste disposal and recycling of waste in which the Italian side, and Tree Company Group Consortium, bringing together about 50 companies from Italy were taking.
Italian side is ready to invest 150 million euros in this project.
It was discussed on a joint project to build a landfill, and with it an industrial zone, which is necessary for the processing of waste materials.
"This is a pilot project that relates to the treatment of all kinds of waste and its transformation into energy, raw materials and finished products that can be placed on the market," said the president of Tree Group Consortium Tiziana dal Pin, adding that the project will enable employment of about a thousand people from BIH.
Italy is one of the most important countries for foreign trade of BIH and a third in exports. The scope of the BIH foreign trade with Italy reaches 1.1 billion, while the export accounted for half a billion, and imports about 600 million. Export-import ratio was 82.3%, placing Italy in the sixth place when it comes to total trade.
