Bosanski Petrovac gets the largest solar park worth 45 milion EUR

The company Promondis, owned by Berthold Brentrup, is ready to invest EUR 45 million in a solar park with a capacity of 88.5 MW in the municipality of Bosanski Petrovac. 

This is a project that started two years ago, and yesterday the investor officially submitted a request for urban consent with complete documentation and conceptual design.

The investor expects that the first works will begin in the spring of 2022, and the completion of the project by 2024.

It will be the largest project for the production of solar electricity in the former Yugoslavia.

Investor Berthold Brentrup has been running business in Una-Sana Canton, as his company HIK GmbH is the founder of the successful company HIK d.o.o. Sanski Most, where part of the production of this electrical equipment manufacturer has been relocated.
