BiH's cheese won gold medals at 12th International Exhibition of Cheese in Austria

Vlašić cheese of agricultural cooperative Eko Vlašić, Livno cheese of diaries Eco-Puđa and Prozor cheese of dairy ZZ ProMilk, won the gold medal at the 12th International Exhibition of cheese (Die Internationale K=E4siade), which was held from 6 to 8 November in Hopfgarten im Brixental in the Austrian province Tyrol. 

BiH’s cheese was in the category “farmer-made cheese”, so cold non-industrial cheese, in which participated 192 cheeses.

The Association of Cheese Producers in BiH and the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Science, University of Sarajevo were present at the exhibition as well. USAID / Sida FARMA project provided necessary funds for their participation.

At the exhibition, 409 cheeses from Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, France, Hungary, Italy and Luxembourg, Slovenia, Croatia and BiH were presented.
