Announced Public Call for Wind farm "Grebak" Concession Award

Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska announced a Public Call to award a Concession to build and operate the Grebak Wind farm in Nevesinje, with estimated capacity of 50 MW and 130 GWh of electricity annual production. 

Power  Plant will not receive incentives  for Renewable Energy Sources.

Estimated investment value is  130 million BAM ( € 65 million), and the deadline for the submission of offers is 30 days from Public Call announcement in   Official Gazette.

Concession   validity  is  up to 50 years, and   obligatory condition for participation in the procedure is  deposit in the amount of BAM 650,000 (€ 325,000).

Concession fee is 0.0055 BAM / kWh ( 0.0028 €/ kWh)   of electricity produced, according to the Public Call.

Wind farm will comprise 15 Wind turbines and should be built at the site Grebak, about five kilometers from Nevesinje center.

Project envisages construction of wind turbines, a substation, control buildings, access roads, as well as a power line for connection to the transmission grid.

Concessionaire  obligation  is to resolve ownership issues at the location where the plant will be built, as well as to build access roads and facilities for   transmission of electricity from the Wind Farm to the connection point with  transmission grid.

The future concessionaire will be obliged to submit an offer which includes a Feasibility Study   with Environmental impact assessment.

Concession-granting initiative was submitted by the company WF Grebak from Nevesinje, which carried out measurements of wind power parameters for last ten years (since 2008) and gained an average wind speed of 7 m / s.

According to Public Call, Company WF Grebak will receive 10 additional points for each criteria as a bonus for the offered solution.
