An investment worth 20 million BAM will be realized in Kakanj

The construction of a factory that will perform the thermal processing of animal by-products in order to produce animal protein and animal and technical fat will soon begin in Kakanj. 

 It is an investment of the company "Agroproteinka" from Zagreb which founded the company "Bioorganika" in Kakanj for realization of investment worth around 20 million BAM. This investment will among other result in a significant number of new jobs.

In the new factory it will be no incineration of the animal waste in Kakanj, therefore there is no new dangerous chimney, and the work of the factory will be based on the strict respect of regulations and norms of the European Union relating to the protection of the environment.

The construction of this factory is the result of a favourable business environment created by the Municipality of Kakanj and of a number of benefits that are provided to investors.

A new factory for the production of mattresses "Moj san" was recently opened in Kakanj, while the construction of the pellet plant is underway.
